Hi everyone, please identify my mustang
Hi everyone, i am in the UK and new to this forum business.
Last yeari purchased a FordMustang and i am having trouble finding out any history about it.
Please could someone help identify my mustang.
So far i have found out some info from the warranty number: It is a 1971 2 door hardtop, made in the Dearborn plant and it has a 302 2v V8 5L.
The thing that is troubling me is that i have not yet seen another Mustang like mine. I think it may be a "Notch back" The boot is not the same as other 1971 mustangs. The rear window is almost vertical rather than morehorizontal .
If anyone can shed some light on my car i would be mostgrateful. If anyone would like to see a photo, please let me have your email address and i will send you one.
Many Thanks
Rich

Not sure about trim levels, ie "Grande" badges or not.
Could just be a base model. The engine is the base V8 for 71.
Still beats a Fiat.
Welcome aboard!

Sight unseen, its probably aMustang "Grande". Notchback as you say, not a Sportsroof.
Not sure about trim levels, ie "Grande" badges or not.

I haven't seen too many like that in the states.
Usually the sportsroof or convertibles.
I'm sure they're even rarer in the UK.
Looks pretty straight.
Have fun with the project.
What color are you painting her?
