new to the site and mustangs

hey guys...im currently looking at a mustang and just wanted to know i'm getting a good deal. my friend is going to sell me his 95 5.0 for 2800. its got high miles but it just got repainted and a new transmission in it. so am i getting a good deal? the miles is 160xxx. and another question...what is the name of the transmission in this car...you know like a t-5 or whatever, mines an automatic tho. thanks guys!

Welcome to the board, without seeing pics it is hard to tell what the car is worth. However, it does not sound like a bad deal. How does the engine run? Smoke? Come over the 5.0 section!
