GM guy goes Blue Oval....
Hey all,
Well, I just bought a black 2006 Mustang GT with only 8k miles yesterday. I traded in my lowered Chevy Tahoe for this bad *ss looking ride and I'm really lovin' it! This is my first Ford as I have been a GM guy pretty much all my life (not a fanatic but I have just liked the Chevys I have bought over the years more than what other manufacturers have offered).
I swore I would not own another black vehicle especially after trying to keep after the acres of black paint on the Tahoe but I came across this Mustang and I couldn't pass it up. It's got all of the usual accessories plus the polished 18" rims which will look just fine until I decide if I want to go with some 20" anthracite Foose Nitrous wheels (yeah, I know that alot of the new gen Mustang guys are already rollin' on them but I really dig the look!).
I've been reading these forums the past couple of days, absorbing as much info as I can, particularly the recommendations of specific lowering components (I've got to get this car off of the stilts at the very least...wheels can wait). I'm looking forward to meeting other Mustang owners in the Orlando area. I know that there are a bunch of yall out there!
Peace.
