Hey I'm new

I recently got a 1994 Mustang GT 5.0 I'm going to bore out the cats soon and put flowtech afterburners i plan to dump them. What would be a good next project? i want to be faster but im 16 so it needs to be affordable...

I'd say prolly gears? I'm not that great with 5.0's, but Welcome.
