Hey everyone. I am 16 and will be a junior in high school. I currently drive a bmw (a nice one and i'm not complaining) but I still dream of some day owning a '69 black 428 boss (clone).

I know pretty much nothing about cars. Yes I know the basics and general info but when it comes to mechanical, I know nothing. I have tried reading the guides and etc here but they often refer to car parts that I have no idea about.


Can you guys reccommend any books or online readings that would contain info on various car parts including what they do and where they are? - Preferably for the classic mustang. It would just be nice to be able to read a guide and not have to google every car part.

Welcome, you could try some haynes manuals, not really sure though

haha well my dad has been a bmw guy... forever pretty much and he knows some guy that owns a dealership so I got a VERY good deal on a used one. All my friends think im loaded, and I just let them think that when their car cost twice as much as mine.

Haynes Manuals? Alright googled them and found them. How good are they for beginners?
