Hello everyone, my name is Chris. Im 18 from San Antonio, Texas and have just recently purchased a 07 mustang. All in all it took most of my cash to buy and pay off the thing (I only have a few hundred left in my bank account) and Im wanting to mod it. My dreams are to drop a GT 500 engine in it with a few other things, such as a supercharger and chip. The only reason why I didnt just get a GT 500 anyway was cause of the price. If anybody has any info on where GT 500 engines can be purchased that would be greatly appreciated. Also any tips and advice on what I could add to my car to make it look and perform even better would also be appreciated. Again, thank you all.

Welcome to the forums, there are many directions you can go for performance, you could even s/c or turbo the car you have now and get some very nice numbers. As for finding a GT 500 engine, maybe talk to the guys in the 05, 06 & 07 Mustang section and see if they have any suggestions for you.

Welcome to the forums Chris. My name is Chris too!!! Do you have any pics? I know that if you try to drop an engine in, brand new they run about 15k. very expensive.
