louisiana new guy looking to find out all he can
I joined this forum because I want to find out all about my dads car. He has a 1972 Mach 1 Mustang with a 2 barrel 351 Cleveland.
Basically I want to know everything about it.
What is its HP and Torque output?
how hard is it to rebuild the engine?
what standard trans. can I replace the FMX that it currently has with?
What is the best way to repair the holes that have rusted in the body and can I find replacement parts such as the trunk, Mach 1 seats, the whole interior ie apolstry and planneling is shot so that's got to be replaced as well.
Can I still get high performance or as my dad calls the "big rubber" for a 14" rim at a reasonable price or should I look at getting some larger rims.
How involved is it to covert the engine to have a 4 barrel carb and a shaker hood?
there are plenty of other questions i have but they'll have to wait for later.
