Newbie to Mustangs from Germany / Europe
Hello!
Found your forum and after browsing for some (very interesting) hours I thought I join in.
I´m sorry if there are too many mistakes in my writing but my written english is not so good. So just ignore them.
Hi!!! My name is Michael, I´m from Germany near Cologne and 6 months ago my wife and I bought our personal dream:
A red/black 1966 289er Mustang Fastback with some goodies already installed like lowered suspension , Styled Steel wheels, tuned up engine and exhaust.
It is a California Black Plate Car and was restored 10 years ago. A dutch friend of mine bought it and sold it for a Shelby GT350 (the lucky one ).
Because of the absence of american vintage cars in Germany (I don´t know why ) I thought have a look around here for help (parts ) and so on.
Great forum -> keep up the good work!!!

Cologne (20km from Bonn -> former Capital of Germany before Berlin got this title) is in the middle-western part of Germany about 150km from the Dutch border.
Where have you been in Germany?
And is it possible to post some pictures of the stang without owning webspace?

Yep it's possible. Here at Mustang Forums we have our own "Photo Gallery" located at the very top of the page.
It's space limited but you can get a good number of pictures on there if they're not too big.

I have a question for you. Is U.S. drag racing followed much in Germany? It seems like it is, I get E-mails from Germany for autographs all the time. -And annother question: Do you see any Saleen mustangs in Germany?
