Hey I just gotta 2004 Mustang with the 3.9liter V6 so i gotta few questions for yall. First question is will replacment performance parts that are made for the 99-04 3.8liter V6 work with the 3.9liter V6? Basically what im lookin to do isnt much but wanna get some more kick outta my ride. So what im lookin to do is a intake, headers, catback exhaust system, ignition, fuel injectors,pumps rails, nos and a chip, as far as performance goes but dont know if any of the parts that are listed for the 3.8l will work with my 3.9liter V6?????? Amother question is when im shifting from fear to gear it is not a smooth shift at all in the mustangs is there anything I can buy because it seems like when you hut the halfway point between ur shifts it kinda sticks then slips in gear but i want a totally smooth shift?If yall got any reccomendations as far as what parts to go with that would help alot too.

I just bought the car 2 weeks ago and when i got it from the guy he said it was the 3.9liter v6 not the 3.8 literv6 so apparently theres 2 different v6's. I dunno man I dont know much about cars except i like em fast. I woulda got a V8 but at the time got offered this rife for asteal that i couldnt pass up ya know! But yeah Im just wonderin cuz im lookin to get this thing modded asap but cant do nothin till i find out if the 3.8 parts will work with the 3.9? So far all ive done to it is gauge layover, 20inch Boss 327" wheels and waitin on the arrival of my MB QUART and ARC AUDIO system, but i need more speed fast!

You have that many posts and you didn't know that from 99-03 stang v6'swere 3.8L and the 04 was 3.9L. I hope you know 05-07 v6's are 4.0L
