New 66 coupe owner here
Hello everyone, I am in Newport New, VA. I am the proud owner of a 66 coupe. I have always wanted one and finally I own one. Now granted it needs alot of work. The body it pretty clean, but it has no engine, drivetrain, or interior. Its good though because I get to choose what I want to put in and that is fine with me!!

Welcome to the forums, no better place to start than a blank canvas IMO, what are you thinking engine/drivetrain wise? Be sure to check out our Classic Mustang section when you get a chance.

Thanks for the welcome. I might have a drop on a 351 cleveland out of a 69 that needs rebuilding...but I wasnt quite sure what it would take to get that under the hood. I have a 9in rear with 3:50 and I am thinking about going with a T5.

Hi Reese, welcome to Mustang Forums!
It's great to finally start realizing a dream, eh? Just wait until you get it on the road, that's when the fun really starts. Was the Cleveland a transplant into the 1969? They didn't start making them until 1970. My 1969 has the original 351 Windsor in it.
Come on over to the Classic section, there are people there that can help you through every step.
Good luck!
