Noob seeking engine build help SERIOUSLY
I have an 89 GT, and I'm a noob to Ford builds, and since the only other mean drag car I built was hand delivered and Japanese I'm asking for some noob mercy here...I plan to equip it with a Twin 76 Ball Bearing Turbo setup, with Outlaw XR 331 DSS Racing block, but I don't know which heads to use,Dart 195ccor AFR 185cc.
I have to maintain street legal emissions, but at the same time I'm gunning for 1,400-2,000 hp on boost.
The other big issue, is I still have issues running with the big guns like this, is that I don't know if the Ignition setup is like every other component ganna handle it's weight.
So here is what I'm using and feel free to comment because this is all blackboard phase and I'm short phrasing alot to give the general picture, this car is also the Flagship Car of my racing group so it does shows.
Bosch Spark Plugs (Maximum spark delivery few ranges colder),
MSD Ignition (includes 6AL box, yada yada),
FAST Engine management and fuel injectors,
1-3\4 to 3 inch collectors MAC X-pipe High flow Catalytic 3 inch, Pro dump 3 inch,
BBK SSIIntake Manifold,
Full Steeda Suspension and Chassis build,
Cabreau Seats and harnesses,
MRbodykit Concept X kit with Cervini Twin Turbo hood, Z3 fenders, Steeda Spoiler, and Supernova Underglow,
Billet Aluminum Interiour ***** with black and red trim on a "Black an Grey Ace of Skulls" exteriour\black seats redinteriour concept,
Aeromotive Eliminator Fuel System,
Fluidyne Radiator\Steeda Oil Cooler\ 7qt Canton oil pan,
Moser Nine inch rear end and custom axles, detroit locker, driveshaft, c-clip elims, 3.77 rear end ratio...,
AMP G-Force T-56 with Steeda Tri Ax shifter,
RAM Clutches Duel clutch with 900 series flywheel,
Autometer Phantom II gauges on fuel pressure, boost pressure, all stock functions,
BF Goodrich KDW 18\335\30 Rear Tires 18\285\30 Front Tires (custom GT BBS Rims with rear 11.5 overlap and matching 9.5 front overlap),
SSBC 13 inch Four Piston Front Disc Brakes with rear 12 inch single bigpiston Disc Brakes high perf pads,
Royal Purple Synthetic Oils all around (the grades I havn't picked but I know it'd match up),
and
the car will use upgraded 5 by 4.5 new lug sizing obviously, entirely renovated from the ground up I'd estimate to weigh in at 3100lbs.
