Figured what the hey..
Howdy all, today marks a great day in my automotive life....
My first car was a pile o' garbage, barely worth mentioning, which I sold a year later to buy a 90 Bronco II. I drove that truck into the ground, and back again for 13 years. Last year, after spending 7 years in the army then getting out, I finished college, got a commission in the Air Force, got married, and got a brand new 04 Mustang GT Convertible, I have finally started customizing it. Today I spent way more hours than I would like to admit putting on a new exhaust and x pipe system on it. I am very mechanically uninclined, and have spent lots of time pulling trash off my Bronco just to see what is where, and what is under different bolts. It's been fun, and when I decided to finally try my hand at actual work, I must say, I was well rewarded. I couldn't belive the sound I heard when I started my Mustang up tonight!!! Awesome!!! I am totally hooked! I want to do as much as I can (and as much as the wife will allow) to get more power out of it. I have been reading different books/magazines/websites/messages boards to learn different tools and tricks to try out with my car, and figured this would be a great place to start to start getting more actively involved. Like I said, I am not real great with mechanics, but I want to learn, and hope most folks don't get to annoyed with a whole heap of newbie questions that I probably will come up ( I promise to read the FAQ and do a search first).
Anywho, I couldn't have been more proud of myself tonight after my work, and thanks to a ton of help from some pals of mine, I am now a proud owner of a little meaner sounding GT!

RE: Figured what the hey..
Haha, you know, there was a little bit of debate over it when we got it... Then she managed to drive the Bronco through our fence. Ownership was quickly established, and our fence and Mustang have been mercifully preserved.
