New to here but not to the game!
Well I've been building cars in the Midwest for the last 10 years. All makes and varieties. I recently bought what I would call a hell of a buy. It is a 84 hatch with the following...
Car is black and has been repainted. Has a 5.0 with a Edelbrock RPM performer package (aluminum head cam and intake). Holley 700 double pumper. Tremec TKO 500. MAC 1 5/8 shorty headers. Flowmaster dual 2.5" exhaust w/ h pipe. King cobra clutch. 8.8" rear end w. 3.73 gears. Holley electric fuel system. 6 point cage. KYB struts with Eibach springs (2 inch drop). Full length subframe conectors, drive shaft hoop. 170 mph speedo conversion. Auto meter gauages. Fiberglass high rise hood. I also got 2 sets of wheels, summit racing seats, 2 sets of T-tops.
When I found the car it had not been driven for 4 years and was very dirty and there was a heavy vibration at 65 mph which turned out to be the driveshaft hoop vibrating on the exhaust. But other than that it runs like a champ and looks great. I'll have pics soon for everyone. I bought the car for $3500! I think I made out okay. Would love hear what you have to say. Never owned a mustang before but I figured you guys probably have the answers to any questions I might have. I look forward to your help. Thanks Everyone.
