Picked up my 06 GT 5 speed last week and absolutely love it so far, only paid $20,000 for it w/ 19000 miles. Took a 300 mile road trip and it was so comfortable, plus i was getting 27 mpg's at 75-80 mph[sm=icon_rock.gif]. Thats twice what i was getting out of my diesel. I have tons of mods in mind for this beast, it already has flowmasters and hopefully a x-pipe real soon. I do have a few questions though... how strong are the clutches in these things? Dont wanna beat on it until i figure out what they can take. Ive tried searching but didnt come up with much. My other question is, its so damn dark in these things with black leather, has any one come up with good inside lighting for these cars? Didnt find much on that either with search? Also any one have good solutions to quieting up a factory pozi? And finally, where can i find the paint code? To me the car looks like candy apple red in the sun but thought it was a redfire color but also heard some where able to order special colors. All in all its a great car and so fun to drive as a daily driver. Any advice would be great, Thanks.

my dad did a second gear burnout with 19 x 9.5s in the rear with the stock clutch, you could smell a little smoke but it held great. We soon replaced it with a fidanza clutch though

if it is a '06 then the color is redfire, it wasn't till '08 that ford used dark candy apple red (mine) to replace it,depending on your style you could look at some neon/led lights for the interior
