Decision on buying car.......
Hey guys, new to posting, not to the site.
My wife and I have a 06 mustang gt.....basically stock. We have an opportunity to purchase on 03 GT with a fully built motor, Procharger, drag radials, and other stuff I cant remember off the top of my head. The guy manages the service department at the ford dealership....so I know it's not been thrown together. The car has been dynoed 523 rwhp and 508 ft. lbs.
He's only asking 18000 for it and i can trade in the stock 06 (which we owe as much as its worth)......but I would just like to know if any of ya'll have any opinions on the swap.....I'm real sentimental about my cars and I dont want to trade that one in but it's so stinkin slow........ And i know i wont be able to ever put a supercharger or make that much power with the 06. But is it stupid to trade on 06 in for an 03? Just curious what ya'll would do....got till Monday.

RE: Decision on buying car.......
never heard anyone call a gt even that was stock slow, but i guess its up to the individual person. i agree with 2k1gt, its probally been beat to hell, i would stick with your GT. plus its more fun to build it up yourself, then buying a finished product that was someone else's baby.

Well, it's not "slow",,,,persay but it's not as fast as I want it...plus it's an auto...(wifes car)...the car has 52K miles on it but the drivetrain has only 2K. I do sub-contract work at that dealership and have been going there for almost 2 years. This dude has been a nut about this car....he changes the spark plugs with the oil and he does that about once a month with mobil 1. He needs a 4 door and that's why he's selling it
