Just introducing myself to the group
Hello All,
I'm Chris and I just signed up yesterday. I have been out of the Mustang game for a number of years, but these 2005s have pulled me back in! Now the question is will I ever get the darn thing!!
I started off with a 67 Fastback 289 when I was 17 that I restored, then I moved into a mint 69 Mach 1...Red and Black.. Sweet car, and was even better after I put a 2bbl Cleveland in it I got from a 70 1/2 Falcon (Limited production car that looks just like a Torino)... Anyway, I have been mostly in F150s the last 8 years but am now getting back into a Pony...
After reading some of these posts, I am begining to wonder if I will get this car or if it is going to get bumped to a 2006.. I got the dealer to give me the order number and dealer code, but the never received a DORA number yet.. ANyway, I get redirected to a National Assistance line when I call the 800# that has been posted for checking on the VIN/Build date so I don't even know if that numbers vaild anymore..
Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi and look forward to chattn' with you all.

Welcome to the forums, and good luck getting your 05. I have the redfire metalic, and love the way it drives. The car gets a lot of attention.

Ya know.. The more I see these black 05s, the more I like them, especially with the stock rims.
I haven't seen a single black 05 around here (even v6)... and we don't see many of the stock rims for some reasons....
