Hello everyone. Proud owner of a Mustang.
Hello everybody. I own a Red2006 Mustang V6, as of August 2007 (I purchased it on my birthday just by coincidence). I'm coming from a 1992 Toyota MR2 and the power difference is amazing. I thought about the V8 butI figured the only reason I would need a V8 is for bragging rights, seeing as how I already break the law by doing 80mph on the freeway everyday. Not really racing anymore,V6 is enough for me. I'm more interested in looks at this point. I'm very pleased with themachine so far.
Right now it's bone stock. I don't even have an air freshener in it. I did a little research and this is my wish list so far:
-18" wheels, non-chrome. (priority)
-Xenon quarter window scoops. (priority)
-Xenon side scoops. (priority)
-Xenon hood scoop? (not a big fan of this scoop, it's not wide enough).
-Shorty antenna, 8". (priority)
-FMS bullitt style fuel door. (priority)
-Window tinting.
-Some kinf of in dash GPS system.
-Rear black out pannel maybe? (I kind of like it, but I'm not 100% sure if I want it yet).
-Different grill maybe? (I have no idea what).
So that's my list. If anyone couldinformme withsome suggestions, alternatives, deals,or give me feedback on these parts (yay/nay),that would be great.
I also washed and clay barredmy car last night. I've never gone past washing before andit took me exactly three hours for the whole process.By the time I got around to the waxing, it was pitch black outside so I have yet to see how bad of a job I did. I did notice right away that I waxed part of the black liner and it's now ash white. Is there any way to get that ash whiteoff of the liner? If it makes a difference, I used Miguiars NXT Tech Wax 2.0.
