Default Questions, questions, questions

Hi - new to the forum, not new to Mustangs- though the last one I had was a 66 Fastback (one of many I owned when they were still almost new!) Just bought a late 01 GT, looking for info on a bunch of topics. Not sure of the protocol here - I'll just post some questions and see what happens!

What are the best "bang for the buck" bolt-ons (short of a supercharger, limited funds at this point). I was thinking cold air intake, MAF, throttle body, plenum, X-pipes, cat-back. And, of course, subframe connectors. What works best?

I'm a big guy (6'6", 240) and the seats are too darn short! What other seats would work. I owned three Gen II SHO's, which have outstanding seats - any idea if they will fit? Are the later model Cobra seats fairly tall backed? If nothing else, is there a way to raise the headrest?

Short throw shifters - which one is best?

Enough for now - hope to hear from the experts!

Welcome aboard man glad to have ya

I'd say definitely get gears and cold air first along with exhaust to open up some hidden hp. I have a Pro 5.0 shifter and i like it alot. Post some questions about this in 4.6 tech and you'll get alot of good answers

welcome to the boards. i agree w/ ^. i have a Pro 5.0 shifter also, and i LOVE it. ive driven cars with both Hurst's and B&M's, and i think the Pro 5.0 just feels stronger. you have more positive shifts. but, there are many people who also like Steeda's but, i havent driven a car w/ one, so, im not saying anything about them.
