I have a 1989 5.0 mustang, so far I have only added a cold air intake, flowmaster an H-pipe and changed my gears to 3.73. I know Ishould problaly doheaders next but after that i dont no where to start. I no for sure I don't want superchargers and turbo's and I was wondering could someone tell me what to do next, I do have a general idea, but I want to hear other opions. Also would like to know how much horspower gains will i get with each mod, and if at all possible which is the better mod for the money I will spend. I am not trying to race are anything, but if someone tries me I would like to win 9 times out of 10.

working on the heads is always a good route. they the intake, thottle body. also read up on some magzines. their always idea in their.

hp gains really depend on your applications you want to use...the key really is to so called match the parts like espically the intakes heads and stuff like that....like buying the holley system max package, you have all parts that are made to work with each other..

most mods consist of H/C/I, gears , cold air system and fuel and exhaust systems

thats where i would start

i did my gears first, transmission clutch flywheel, suspension, then i tore into the motor, but thats my opinion
