Default 08 Mustang GT in the great white north?

Currently I’m considering purchasing a 2008 Mustang GT to use as a daily driver. The issue being is that I plan to drive it year around, including through he Canadian winter. The tires would be changed out to snow and ice tires and the vehicle will have a manual transmission, but I’m still concerned about the solid rear axle and rear wheel drive. It is likely at times that I would have to drive a short distance through 4-6 inches of snow. The area I’m in recently got 12 inches of snow. Currently I drive a Neon R/T with snow tires and have had no issues, but the vehicle is front wheel drive, low torque. Does anyone on the forum drive his or her Mustang through the winter? Has this been previously discussed, perhaps just point me to the thread.

Thanks

Hmmm...you may want to use the search tool and punch in "winter driving" and see what comes up...at any rate, welcome.
