Default Getting Back in Saddle -- Need Advice

Hi,

I'm a new member and 4-time Mustang owner, most recently a '94 GT Convertible, and am getting back into the saddle.

I'm interested in buying an '07 or '08 GT Convertible. Here's my question:

I notice there are still quite a few '07 models left on dealer lots. There are factory incentives that apply, of course. But the '07 models are already a year old as we head into April of '08.

Before factory incentives and the like, what kind of deal should I expect on '07 models?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Welcome to MFs... not sure about the 07s... but i do know that A plan buyers (like 500$ above invoice - workers for Ford) only get like 2k - 3k off MSRP..on Mustangs.. and this is all dependant on options.. more options, bigger discounts.. but i've not heard of any "specials" going on right now.. Good Luck

You are correct. Dealers should be itching to get rid of the '07 models. These puppies are stale and sitting on the lot getting ready to be gone. Go help them out. I think you would get a great deal from the stealership. Specially when in about 7 months or so the new '09 models will be coming out...
