Default New to the pony

Hey guys, well this is my first pony ive owned. I am 19 years old, just bought me a 1965 2d Coupe with a 200 CID slant six, some kind of holley 2 barel carb. Has disc breaks on the front, white pearl in color. I paid 1800 for the car, it was fully restored 2 years ago when some lady pulled out in front of the guy i bought it from and it took him 2 years to get a settlement, so when he got the settlement he sold the car cheap(i think). It is a lil wrecked at the moment, but ive priced the parts to fix and its like 1200 in parts, and i found a body shop to do all the work for 1 grand let me know what yall think.

You lucked out...once fix that stang will cost more than the money you paid for it and the $$ you paid to get it fixed up. Well done.

You couldn't go wrong with that car. Like it's already been said, you'll have something very special and worth quite a bit more than you'll have invested when you're done. Just make sure the body shop knows what they're doing and don't let them skimp or take shortcuts to save you money. You'll only pay for it in the end. Nice pickup!!!
