I put a set of silver 18" Cobra R's on my '00 GT and wrapped them in 275/40's. Looks great and provides quite a bit of traction over the stock set. I agree with the stereo upgrade, but with an aftermarket exhaust system, you will love that sound better than any CD!

depends on what kind of mods you are seeking.

cold air intake is good.
what kind of exhaust do you have?
do you have a short shifter?

Welcome to the forums!!!!! Congrats on the 02' GT!! The first thing you should do if it is a 5 speed is get a good short throw shifter, the second thng to do is get a good cat-back, mid-pipe and headers. About the time you read about all that on here and decide what you want you will have a good idea on all the other things to get!!!
