I have never owned a convertible before and am wondering what is the best way to clean/take care of the top? Is taking it through a car wash fine, or can that damage it? Any other advice you can give would be great. I love the car by the way.

I have never taken mine thru a car wash..others may have, but I havent in almost two years. I just clean my top with a cloth/car wash...

Welcome to the forums...suggest you wash the car the ole fashion way...by hand. Seriously, car washes can and will put a lot of scratches and swirls in the paint. If you have a dark car you'll really be able to see them in bright light. As far as the top goes....read first suggestion. Just my recommendations.

Hand washing is the best all the way around. When I had my convertible I used vinyl wipes on it. Sometimes I used Back to black on it. It seemed to work pretty well, but someone may have better ideas than that for products that may be less harsh on them. Welcome
