Mustang Noob
Hi all,
I'm in the market for my first Mustang so I'm looking and learning.
I like the 2005-2008 models but I'm needing direction/info on differences. I see Shelby, GT500, Saleen...not sure of the differences and am not huge into performance muscle cars. I come from a Suzuki/Yamaha/Kawasaki sportbike background, performance and modding so I imagine I'll be getting into it with whichever Mustang I buy.
I like the low, wide front end on the Shelby but want an automatic transmission (ya I know I know...) and I'm looking for something in the $15k-$25 range. I already came clean that I'm a noob so please don't flame, I'm just looking for a little guidance. Thanks in advance!

from one noob to another...welcome. If you're looking in the 15 to 25k price range, probably the only thing that will fit that category is a used gt. Shelby's are gonna be 2 to 4 times your price range, depending on what you're looking for....

Welcome to the forum. Roush, Saleen and Shelby cars will be out of your price range for the current body style. Motor Trend or Road & Track just had an article explaining all of the differences with after market mustangs. They even had an article on the Bullet. Anyway, your best bet is to start with a car you can afford and slowly add to it... of course, learning in the process. That's have the fun.
