New 69 in the group
Hi from gold country, Mariposa, California (the no fun state)!
My name is Dan and I finally have the time and a little bit of budget to get the Mustang in respectable condition.
The wife and I are going to call this one "Our" Mustang because she provided the car and I'm providing the parts and skills.
"Our" Mustang is a 1969 Sportsroof with a 302.
Don't hate me here because I'm not going to restore her to "original" specs.
I'm just going to make her cool, comfortable, and maybe even a little get up and go under the hood.
The 69 is currently white with red pin-striping (not factory) with red interior. The wheels are not factory either but those will go later on.
I currently have new carpet and interior I'm getting ready to put in after I sand down the floor pan and insulate it.
The body is clean and straight and there isn't too many rust issues.
I look forward to getting your help and advice when I run into problems. I'm normally modifying modern cars and this is my first real adventure into a classic. I'm having fun so far and finding parts seems to be pretty easy (for the most part). There are some parts that I have no idea what they are actually called so I'm having problems locating those but everything will come together soon.
Thanks for listening...
Dan

Dan, people here aren't stock-*****... my car is anything BUT "original". Mustangs are all about mods and personalization, so don't worry about it, just do what you want and share the pics and numbers.
