Default New Member looking for advice

Howdy All...I am a new member from the Garden State. I am sporting around in a 1971 Mach 1 convertible. It has been modified to include the engine (5.0L) and trans (T-5)from a 1988 Mustang GT.I have a serious radiator in the car thatkeeps theengine running anywhere from 190 to 200 degress F. It does not have a mass airflow sensor. My problem is that it runs very rich...lots of carbon on the exhaust tips and it certainly will not pass NJ emission standards. It does have working O2 sensors. I know that if you have QQ plates in NJ you do not need to have an emission test, butI have normal tags.

Any ideas?????
