RE: New here, loving it!
Exhaust is the same animal. My v-6 came with single exhaust...didn't sound too bad for a v-6, but the second thing I upgraded was the exhaust. I went with the Pypes catback setup, with an x-pipe versus an h-pipe, (better sound and more hp with my setup) which both give you true dual exhaust, and finished it off with the Pypes Street Pro mufflers. I later added Pypes shorty headers. I gotta tell you, this car does not sound like a v-6 and I can beat any stock GT. There are great exhaust threads, of course, and when it comes to mufflers, it's really a personal choice. What look are you going for, what kind of exhaust not do you want, etc. You Tube has tons of clips, that's what helped me make my mind up.

Hmm I'm not sure.
Say how much did all your setup cost you? Just with an Cold Ait Intake and Pypes Catback setup makes your V6 strong enough to beat a stock GT. Damn.
I want my V6 to sound like a beast. Dual Exhaust like the Cobra Mufflers.

I'll have to get a sound clip of my exhaust...it does sound like a beast and turns heads everywhere I go. Don't misunderstand...it's my complete setup that has given me that extra umpfh! My tuner makes a huge difference! It's customized for my car, with my engine, and my add-ons. Without the tuner, it's still fast, but not fast enough. Not to mention that the 4.0 is so sensitive that without the custom tune, I couldn't have installed the C & L Intake. What size engine is your v-6? This 4.0 is a manhandler if pushed hard enough. I haven't hit top end yet, but I've been up to 130 mph with PLENTY of pedal/rpm's left. To date, including installs, I've spent around $2000. I plan to s/c her not too far down the road and then the real fun begins! I want V-8's to know they just got their asses whipped by a v-6, that's why I'll keep the Pony grill on.

Wow you make me feel proud of my V6.
I think the engine is 3.8.
My monthly check is around 500 cuz I work part time, but slowly I want to make my V6 into a beast.
So I should start with a Cold Ait Intake right?
Oh the other day I went up to 110 on my stang, felt fast. Though would love it faster.

In my opinion, a CAI is the most sensible upgrade, both cost effective and you will definitely notice a difference. They are all about the same; some kind of tube attached to a cone filter. The rest is preference and how much $$$ you are willing to spend.
