Default questions

Hi all,

Really new to this so all help and suggestions appreciated! My son and I just bought a 97 Mustang GT and had to start bolting on some items. To date we have installed a Steeda Short Throw Shifter, BBK Cold Air Intake, Plenum and Accufab 70mm throttle body.

We have run into a nagging check engine light that shows up as a TPS issue. We replaced the TPS with a new one and the idle sits at 2,200 RPM! Had to put the old TPS sensor in just to get the idle back down to a manageable point. The RPM's also seem to hang when you are off the throttle.

Any suggestions???

Thank you,
Scott and Nick

Default RE: questions

well...just fix it again and mess with the position of the throttle. there should be an allen head screw that you can position the throttle with. just put the RPM where u want them and tighten the screw down.
