Hey guys hows it goin!? My name is Rick, and ill prolly be on this site alot now, but i just recently picked up an 89 Notchback with a 5.0 conversion. I bought the car for $500 bucks as a roller without a tranny. Someone orginially had plans to make it a strip car because its got frame connectors and a roll bar. Come to find out i just pulled apart the top end yesturday and its got roller rockers and a cam. which had me excited because i was planning on putting one. so it saved me a few bucks. Car originally was a 5 spd 4cyl. i picked up a T-5 from a 5.0 for $130 with about 90k and change on it. Im planning on going Carburated with my motor. Maybe you guys have some suggestions for me on my rebuild? anything would help! im also still looking for alot of parts, rear end, driveshaft, some other odds and ends. Im living in Mass. so let me know! and im glad i can be a part of such a great online community!
