I registered here 2 years ago when I was looking at a used V6 salvage, had some questions about some issues I had noticed with that car and the people here seemed helpful in responding to my questions. I inevitably passed on the salvage, due mostly in part to the advice of members here.

Now, 2 years and 1 week later, I'm back. This time I'm here for good.

I purchased a new 2008 Manual 5 Speed V6 Pony Package in Silver, with matte black hood stripes installed by a dealer.

I'm located in Oakland Co. Michigan, used to be a Focus driver and was into Focus clubs/meets for a while and am now looking to get into the Mustang scene.

As far plans for the car go, I'm likely going to leave it stock until the spring, with the exception of a new airfilter and likely snow tires.

Next spring? Well the dreamer in me says N20 or F\I, suspension, wheels. My focus had a full Eibach suspension and rims so I've been there before. The engine work will all be new to me, so I'll probably be looking for a lil help in that area. I'm currently self employed, so as the business goes, so will the car.

Welcome to the forum! I have similar stripes but mines are painted on and they go into the licesnse plate area instead of around. Looks great though!

yea i like it....but you bought it brand new. y didnt u just get a gt? i think they are rated 300hp, 320 lb tourque. at the crank atleast.
