Would 275's be too wide for the rear on a 94 GT?? Would I need some extra work done to make them fit right? Im Open to suggestions on the width but im goin with 18's for sure. If 275's are toowide then what should I go with for the front and rear?

275's wouldfit on the rear but not on the front. If you put them on the front they would rub like crazy when you turn. Get like 245's or 255's on the front. </P>

*Edit*Also, it depends on how wide your rims are. My friends dad has a 1996 Dodge Viper RT/10 with 13 inch wide rims and he has 345's on it. Just to give you an idea. (The 345's look like f**king steam rollers!)</P><edited><editID>harvey041</editID><editDate>37921.0411574074</editDate></edited>

You'll probably have to upgrade to 10.5" rear wheel width. I'm planning on doing the same thing with 17's. I'm using 17x9's front w/ 245's and17x10.5's rear w/ 275's. Just make sure you get the proper backspacing to push the rear wheel out closer to the fenders. </P>

edit: oh yeah, you can go up to a 315 in the rear and it will fit real nice. Big bucks for a 315 R18 I imagine.</P><edited><editID>piston</editID><editDate>37921.3765162037</editDate></edited>

I have 18x10.5" rims on the back of my 2000GT and am running 275's. BUT, I will be getting at least 295's next time around. The lip of the rim sticks out a bit past the edge of the 275's.<IMG src=smileys/smiley6.gif border="0"> But those fatty rims and tires look awesome from behind the car!!<IMG src=smileys/smiley14.gif border="0">

Go with a 255/40 up front and a 295/35 out back. The aspect ratios work great.</P>

You'll probably find a 295 too wide then. Most of the 10.5" rims put the tire flush with fender. How much do plan on lowering the car? You can still lower it 1.5" with 17X10.5's and its fine but most likely won't work with the big *** 18's.</P>
