Default New to this "driving" thing.

Hello there. My name's Shawn, but I think Beastly sounds better, .

Anyway, I'm here because I've loved muscle cars my whole life, including a special fondness for Mustangs.

I'm only 15, and as such, currently am not driving. I am working on Driver's Ed though. The gist of my story is that I have a van, I'm selling it, and with the proceeds I intend to buy either a Mustang, Firebird, or Camaro. (Or maybe something else... But only if it -really- catches my eye.) KBB puts the van at roughly $4500, so for now I'm looking at cars that are roughly $4500 and below.

I'm here because I want advice and conversation! Even though I've loved the cars my whole life, I've never really had a chance to learn about them, as all my family drives is SUV's.

To summarize: My name is Beastly, and I'd like to learn as much about mustangs as I can. If you know anyone in the Houston area looking for a high quality van, I'm your man. If you know a guy in the Houston area selling a decently used Mustang, please, let me know.

Hope to talk to you guys soon!

Hello and welcome to the forums, to the world of automobiles, and to the realm of mustangs. Whatever you choose to get, whether it be a mustang, camaro, or firebird, rest assured that you have good car. All are good choices and all have their strengths and weaknesses--its all about finding out which one fits you best. By the way I dig your username lol.
