Default 92 5.0 lx

Just bought the car last week. Its a 92 hatch, 5.0 5sp. It is gray with a gray interior. Its all stock, except for a cat back. Had the car for about 24 hours, and got hit by a guy cutting across 3 lanes. So, the car is a little damaged at the moment, but its still been fun to drive. I went from a 66 mustang to a 92 3000GT VR-4, and now that im broke, i got the 92. So what are the best bang for the buck mods to start out with? Anything notoriously wrong with these cars that i should look out for?
Thanks
Nicholas

Thanks guys. ya.. i didnt get hit too bad, it just messed up the front bumper, headlight, a little bit of the passenger fender, put a little crease in the hood, and the passenger suspension is a little messed up.. maybe it did a decent amount, haha but its getting fixed soon.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about the car. I would always start with a cold air intake and then exhaust. Let the engine breath.
