If you are looking for image, how 'bout a Mustang ragtop? I have a '98 ragtop with a V6-auto (for sale by the way, but TN is a bit far from DE) which I have loved. With the top up on the highway I get about 27.5 mpg (25 mpg with the top down), and almost 19mpg around town. Tires, rims, springs and body kits are available to personalize Mustangs to suit your taste. See what is available for sale around you - if you find a GT you like, then go for it. Just don't pass up a V6 without taking one out for a spin.

Welcome!
Drive both and do the pros and con listings. Don't forget to add the cost of insurance. Then really go with your heart. Sometimes being logical isn't the right thing.
I drove both 6's and 8's. I knew the 6's would be cheaper in the long run, but I knew I would be sorry later because I love the growl of the V8 as well as the power. I keep cars a long, long time so I went with the V8. Now, if only the price of gas would come down quite a bit more.
LOL!!
One more thing, get the car after the divorce is finalized so it's not part of the divorce proceedings. She may want it!!!
