coupe r better for stability n hatchback are better for racing... so what do u think guys...n by the way...does ne body know which year for the late mustangs from 90 to 93 is a high out put engine..i believe they r much powerful than than the normal v8's.... tnx....peace..

I think the LX mustang was built more for straight line speed. And the GT Hatchback was more for Handling and stability at higher speeds...I think this goes for 85-93 I could be wrong though, whos with me? <edited><editID>Redline5th</editID><editDate>37922.8110532407</editDate></edited>

Stock the LX is faster than the GT cause it lighter (less the ground effects). Between a notchback and a hatch, the notchhas greater rigidityand chassis stiffness+you don't have the heavy hatch window either. The 90-93 V8 carswill all be 5.0 HO.

the hatch has less drag than the gt..so it's co is a lil less...notch is the way to go in all aspects

well the convertable gt where notches. i have a notch gt. it looks different. i had an 81 notch that was perfect and a 92 gt that had cancer so i did a little work. the 92 gt became a notchback. i changed everything including the air conditioning! the 86-95 was the h.o. motors.

wel..whichmodel can perform better with a supercharger or turbo?.....i love the sound of supercharger...gives me the goosebumps/.....tnx.

all the 5.0's had the same engine (pretty much at least from 87 - 92)
