Hello I am 38 and live in Lago Vista, north shore of Lake Travis Lake, north west of Austin Texas.
When I was 16 I was driving a tired 73 Mustang with an out of shape 351. The car was bought brand new by my Father in 1972. I made one of the worst mistakes in my life and traded it in for a brand new 1988 Camero RS. A good friend of mine bought an 88 GT. It did not take too long for me to see that the Mustang by far out performed my 305 and ate 5.7 IROC's for snack. Any way, years later I traded my Camero for a 4 door and a child seat. I have always told myself that one of these days I would own a GT.
Last week my wife who works for a car dealer came home with a silver 08 GT that she got at auto action. It had 1100 miles on it and she won the bid at 19k. So I am finally an owner of a Mustang GT.
Anyway I hope to learn alot on this forum, because it has been a while since I have owned a sports car....
