Hello all,
My name's Russ. I drive a Subaru WRX. Before I get chased out let me say that I'm also a big mustang fan. I plan on adding a New Edge GT or Cobra to my stable at some point after I finish college. While my car certainly isn't a ground pounder, I feel (as I think a lot of the subaru faithful do) like I've always been one of the odd men out in the import scene. The sound of a high-winding Honda usually gives me a headache. I like a the meaty rumble of a flat four/v8, and a ton of power...which is probably why I drive a Subaru. She's a beaut.
Here's a couple pictures:
Right now I've got a full 3" turboback exhaust and a K&N. I'm running an off the shelf "stage 2" reflash. I'll be getting a dyno tune in a month or so, probably. Looking at around 250whp and 300ish wtq. Aside from that and some minor cosmetic mods its stock.
In any case I've always thought the V8 mustangs were positively badass. It seems to be all about the right motor and how much rubber you can fit under the rear fenders.
I just thought I'd join up and learn a little bit more about these cars.
