Default New to the forum from Ft Lauderdale

My son and I have spent the last 12+ months working on my 96 Cobra convertible. We finally picked it up from the tuner last Thursday and are happily working out the remaining bugs.

I have a Livernois Motorsports built 298 CI 4V block with Stage 3 4V heads and Comp Cams running 60lb injectors. I had my Vortech SQ upgraded to a T-trim and it's putting out just under 12 PSI. Added Kooks L/T with mid pipes, no cats and Borla exhaust. 4.10 gears, Moser 31 spline axles and limites slip dif.

We got the car back from the tuner with a dyno sheet showing 460 RWHP, (don't recall the torque right now).

I know we'll have questions as we continue with this project.

I'll get it to the track as soon as I get the roll bar installed and post the times.

Livernois told me the motor should be pushing 500 easy with that boost.

I've had a lot of issues gettting this car tuned. The car has been a real problem child from the beginning. I was experiencing a VERY rough idle and stalling at red lights since we picked it up on Thursday last week.. I cleaned the IAC last night and the throttle body. Seems to have taken care of the problem. I'm surprised the tuner didn;t catch that.

Now I think the car just needs another tune. I think they were afraid to get too aggressive with the issues that were going on.

We'll see.......
