Now...... i have a small problem that i need a little help with. Each tire has a lock lug on it, and as a result we cant take them off. The front didnt matter, cause i took the entire K member out in one piece.... but the back has moser axles, and i dont want to drill out the studs if i dont have to. Heres a picture of the lock lug.
As you can see, its a reverse lock lug, and the stud comes through the center of it. Its not like most lock lugs where the grooves are on the ouside casing of the lug itself. This creates alot of problems.... so if anyone has any ideas as to how i can get these two lock lugs out without messing up the axles, i would greatly appreciate the ideas.
Keep in mind that these lugs have been on the car for about 5 years, were submerged under salt water during hurricane Katrina, and there is considerable oxidation inside the lug holes. Also remember that the lug is set over an inch into the rim, so grabing it is just about impossible.
On a side note.... these rims are for sale. They are dirty, and have a little oxidation on them.... but other than that, in great condition. If anyone needs pics of each rim, let me know. They are original cabra rims, not knockoffs. They are 18X9 i believe. We are going to be goign with a black powder coated rim, so we dont need these anymore. (granted, i can get them off without destroying them!!!)
