Hey folks,
Just scored a 89 lx 5.0 5sp ragtop with new top.
The car is loaded and has 98k on the clock, low for a 89.
It has some aftermarket suspension stuff (upper and lower rear arms, springs, shocks, subframe connects. Also Flowmasters and hi flo cats.
Motor is basically stock and ready for some tweakin.
Got it for a steal, $800, but the catch is the frame got tweaked when the previous owner spun it out in the rain last month and hit a curb, no body damage but some bent right front suspension parts. It will need to go on a frame machine to be straightened along with a new k frame. I was still able to drive it home.
It's been a long time since I owned a Ford but with the help of mustang forums ,I think i will get all the info i will need.
