Nother noob to forum
Hey everyone,
First post here so I thought I'd put in a few questions too (at the end).
Just bought an '08 Mustang Bullitt (#5301) and so far I love it. Excellent torque and it's fun to drive. Wife isn't happy ("it's not practical!"), but she'll get over it.
I owned an '85 GT mustang for some time before it was t-boned at the intersection near my work back in 1995 - and before that a 1968 GTO - so I really missed the power. Since then I've been waiting for the right moment to re-up on a muscle pony.... and this one looked about right. Purchased at Galpin Motors for a good price.
My question(s) if anything might be directed to So Cal mustang owners. I have a couple of free oil changes from the Dealership(s) that I plan to use (at 7,500 and 15,000), but I guess I'm asking if anyone can recommend a solid mechanic or "shop" that will help keep my Mustang in good maintenance. I live in South Bay (El Segundo) and drive every day to Pasadena, so it's only a matter of time before things start to rattle, hum, drip, slip, etc. I'm not one to let a car like this fall by the wayside, so if any one in the South Bay Area of So Cal can recommend a great mechanic, I would VERY MUCH appreciate it.
Anyway, I hope to check in with this forum regularly and am glad this place is here to vent and ask questions.
Regards, and any suggestions comments please feel free to send them along.

Sweet ride! I live in the South Bay too (Torrance) and work in El Segundo.
I can recommend my mechanic, Leo Lamas at Leo's Auto Repair. He's not the cheapest, but he's honest and does good work. I've been going to him for about 6 years now. His shop is located at 1860 PCH in Lomita. Phone number is 310-325-7776.
Maybe I'll see ya around the South Bay sometime!
