Hello from the SRT8 Community
Heya peoples...first post here.
I thought it would be good to post up after riding in a GT500 about my experience.
My good friend has a Blue/White stripes Cobra and I had a chance to ride in it recently..
I originally thought my Charger would smoke it but found differently after a fun ride in the 'Stang. My impressions were that it was fast. It would spin the tires with little input from the clutch (6-speed car.) I also thought it was too quiet stock, but that is not always a bad thing.
I think my car would still pull the Mustang, but I have 16k in motor/trans/axles to get where I am at.
IMHO the GT500 is an awesome car guys...I am very impressed.

Thanks guys and gals...I actually traded in an '05 yellow GT with a manual and loved the car...absolutley zero problems with the car.
My car put 465hp and 488 ft/lbs to the rear wheels on the dyno. I know dynos are fairly subjective but the ballpark is there.
Here is my car before and after.
