The reason why I decided to join this forum is because I am currently having problems filling up the gas tank. It either fills up slowly (I mean SLOWLY) or it shuts off the gas pump before filling up completely. I once had to go gas station hopping because none of the gas pumps worked with my car! I am trying to get it fixed but Ford has been refusing to look at it even though they admitted it had a problem. I was just wondering if anyone else can lend some help! I have heard that the '05-'07 Mustangs have defects with the gas tank. Anyone else have this problem or know someone who had the problem?
I had the slow fillup problem when mine was new but it hasn't happened in a couple years now. When I had the problem I tried the trick of turning the pump handle upside down or at a 90 degree angle and that did work. Oh, and welcome to MF.

Thanks everyone for the help! After many phone calls, bitchin', and 4 visits at 3 different dealerships they have finally offered to give me a new gas tank. Hopefully it works if it doesn't I will definitely try some hip-action or even turning it upside down. haha
