New Mustang Owner...
Hello everyone,
My name is Alex, I'm 19 and living in Toledo, Ohio. I recently purchased my first Mustang from a dealership. Here is some of the information:
Year: 2001
Engine: 3.8L V6
Color: Dark Blue
Condition: Good
I financed the car on bad credit and will end up paying something like $13K with interest.
About a month after buying it the driver window came off the tracks and the driver side mirror fell off. I returned to the dealership last week and they put it in the shop to fix the window for me despite it not being covered by warranty. They told me the mirror was on me.
In the end a slightly depressing purchase due to the nature, but I totally love the car and have fallen in love with Mustangs since the purchase.
I originally intended to purchase a luxury car but when I test drove a Cadillac Deville, Chrysler 300M and the Mustang - I was instantly attracted to the Mustang.
Furthermore, I realized after the purchase that it would have been much nicer to have a manual transmission in the car, but unfortunately that is not the case.
I'm currently waiting for the car to be returned to me by the dealership with a fixed window. I intend to replace the mirror soon as well and then begin focusing on aesthetic and performance enhancements.
I found this timeslip of a V6 Mustang running a 11.9 and was highly impressed. I hope to see my car run something like that before it's end-of-life.
I look forward to getting to know you all.
See you around,
Alex

I'm aware that it was highly overpriced, but that's what happens when you finance a car at 19 years old with bad credit. Oh well, not much one can do in my position.
Too much information?
As noted, that was not my run but the run of someone else that I located online. From my understanding it was done in a Mustang with the same engine as mine. I was surprised that the V6's could run that time.
