new guy, first mustang I've owned, 2009 GT
what's up, just picked up my stirling gray 2009 GT premium a few days ago. I've worked on Mustangs before, put a Kenne Bell onto my buddy's 04, but this is the first Mustang, or domestic for that matter, I've owned. so far I like the car, it's quick enough for stock. they really stepped up the interior for the 2005+ models which I like.
if anyone can point me in the right direction as far as suspension that would be cool. trying to research but I'm learning about a whole new world here I've never had a solid rear car before so any links to good info about getting the rear end set up right would be appreciated. my last car was a Honda S2000 and those handle awesome right out of the box. eventually I'd like to get the mustang to handle just as well.
power wise I'm planning on getting the Kenne Bell, hopefully in a month or two. once the Kenne Bell is on I'll be good as far as power for a while. Kenne Bell said that 500whp was ok on the stock motor with their tune. what's the limit of the clutch and tranny? I'm assuming the solid rear is good for a lot of power.
I'll post some pictures when I can, it's been raining non stop lately. again any help for a newb would be appreciated, thanks!
