What's going on fellas?... and ladies?

Just got a Mustang a little less than a year ago and looking for a good little group to share some vids, pics, and info with.

Name: Shane
Age: 19
Location: Springfield, MA
Car: 1998, Ford, Mustang

The car orignally was a deep Hunter Green, but we have painted it a Burnt Orange witch gives it an amazing look during the summer. 18" 9x10.5 American Racing Polished Aluminum Rims, Monster Hood, Full Invader Body Kit w/ Mesh Grill, and I forget the name of the spoiler. Neon Red lights on the bottom LR sides of the car, black Mustang logo on the back window, and custom sound system.

Nothing major has been done to the car mechanically except for a brand new transmission and true dual exhaust straight back from the manifold, so it sounds like a monster. It's only a V6 3.5, but I'm looking into swapping the engine and other things to drastically improve performance.

I've never been a big car guy, but with what I'm driving that needs to change and quick. Any advice you guys got on improving the performance and look of the car, I'm all ears!

Hi Shane, Welcome to MF.

Swapping the engine is a big job. Have you looked into a turbo for your 6?

Actually I haven't.

It's kind of embarassing, but I almost know nothing about what's going on under my hood except for the basics.

Not really sure where I would start...

Read the tech sections here and this link http://www.v6power.net/dyno/ will give you an idea about what others have done. In the end, it's all about how much money you want to spend. Biggest bang for the buck is gonna be NOS.

WELCOME TO MF'S

Man that mustang is riced out..I like your rims though. Looks like you could use a lowering kit.
