I finally did it.

I finally did it.
I was 19 years old when the Mustang was introduced in 1964. Their first showing was on a Wednesday, and amazingly, by Saturday afternoon I was driving a new baby blue Mustang convertible. (289, 4speed, rally pac, power top and 14" wheels) The car payment alone took about half of my paycheck working at a gas station. ($104 for 36 months) It was not only the funnest, time in my life, but the funnest car I had ever owned. I put 140,000 mile on it before family needs dictated something more practical.
I always thought that someday I would own another Mustang, and 45 years later, I finally got my dream. As much as I wanted that GT stick shift, the practical side of being 64 years old kicked in. I settled for the Vista Blue V-6 premium package with an automatic. With 4 grand kids (2 of them driving) I choose one that they could hopefully get some enjoyment out of too.
I'm hope to make some mild modifications, and thought this would be a great place to get some suggestions, and see what other owners are working on.
Sorry about rambling, but as I said, I only had to wait 45 years to get to here.
