New 5.0 Girl from MI
Hey everyone,
About 6 months ago I purchased my first mustang--it's a white 92 GT. I'm not super knowledgable about cars, so I'm hoping I can learn a bit from reading around on this site! cheers!

Ugh, I had just finished my reply and my car alarm started going off, which in turn startled my cat and she landed smack on my lap top. er!
ANYWAYS,
"Jenny" is an automatic, and has grey and black interior. The previous owner re-painted it this fugly matte white (see my rant on the detailing section :<)
She is has just a few mods.....flows, a better rear end, some upgraded performance parts. The engine has been rebuilt, and a few months ago pretty much every part on the body has been replaced. The frame was also welded. And as all of you know, having an older car has meant dropping cash on one thing after another....starter (now hi-performance after getting stranded at the stupid grocery store with 50thousand groceries), all the cooling parts, all suspension parts...blahblahblah.
And yes, Michigan blows when it comes to the roads, --salt, potholes, POTHOLES, etc. In fact, just last week the part on the sway bar had to be replaced, and the dammed rear axle was bent and had to be fixed! errr!
She's running great now, and I'm looking to make her faster this summer and to get a better non-fugly paint job!
