new guy from Milwaukee

hey fellas, and ladies if present:icon_wink: . Ive been parusing the forums for a little bit and like what I see. I just purchased(waiting for delivery on labor day weekend) my dad's 1999 Mustang GT Convertible, it has 25k on it and it's in great condition. He used to be a big car guy but slowly got out of it, so I took it off his hands! I also own a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT that I supercharged. I dont know much about Mustangs but I am definately a fan of them and I am doing what I can to learn the most about these beauties. Any help would be appreciated!

Sadly, I am not the greatest at driving manual, but I am trying my hardest to learn. lol Im not looking to do anything major to the car as that is what the Grand Prix is for(i know its just a grocery getter, lol). I just want to make the exhaust sound deeper and give it more of a "true" v8 badass sound to it, I will probably do a CAI as well. I think that will be it performance wise, everything else will be appearance, as I intend to keep the miles down and show the car once it is in my posession.

Im sure im forgetting something as far as introduction goes, so if you guys have any questions feel free to ask! Now on to a couple pics that I have of the car. I dont have many pictures as I dont live near them anymore, they live in the Land O' Lakes area in Florida. So here are the pics:

lol dont mind the eclipse, thats my brothers(the one in the white shirt and my dad in the black shirt).

Welcome to the forum! That is a good looking Mustang. Your dad sure didn't put many miles on it. You will get better at driving a manual the more you practice with it. Just do me a favor and don't grind the clutch, always make sure the clutch is in when shifting ;)

lol ya i know. He bought the car in June of 2000 with 12k on it lol. He traded his 1996 Econoline Conversion van in for it, I would say that was a nice upgrade!
